Challenge
The home still relied on a Federal Pacific “Stab-Lok” panel — a type widely regarded in the trade as a safety concern because its breakers can fail to trip on a fault. The wiring above it had also been patched over the years.
Solution
Fuse Electric removed the obsolete Stab-Lok load center and installed a modern Square D main-breaker panel, re-landing and clearly labeling every circuit and tidying the feeders. All work was permitted and inspected.
Result
A safe, reliable, clearly-labeled panel — and the peace of mind that the breakers will actually trip when they need to.
